Pinnacle Studio 16 won't launch after the Windows 8.1 update

Steps to resolve the issue:

1. Restart your PC.
2. Run this patch "PS16_fix_for_Windows_8_1_32and64.exe (http://cdn.pinnaclesys.com/SupportFiles/PS16_fix_for_Windows_8_1_32and64.exe)". When patching process is complete, Studio will be launched.

Добрый день! У меня такой вопрос. Я сделал апдейт системы до Windows 8.1, и Pinnacle Studio 16 открылся без проблем. Нужно ли все равно применить этот patch, чтобы избежать каких-то проблем в будущем?
